Coming Soon!

This semester I am not taking any photography classes and boy does that put a damper on things. On a much lighter note, this gives me the time to explore photography without a professor breathing down my neck (that, thankfully, doesn't happen bytheway). I can now study what I want and don't have to be stressed about getting a bad grade for something I was never interested in to begin with. Take that!
My plan is to start weekly (this is pushing it, they may turn into monthly) tutorials which will hopefully give me the review I need to stay on top of my game and give my readers (Thank you family) a chance to pick up a few tips depending on how coherent I make this.
I've begun planning a few, however I probably won't start posting them until I get settled into school and a new apartment in a couple weeks. Since I don't have any sweet pictures to post today, I'll just post one of my recent (attempted) self portraits.
Not great, but a fair representation of my editing face.

Levitation.

I think of people slouched over in some unnatural coma floating off the ground, but this awesome girl, Natsumi found it in everyday life. Seriously, how cool are these photos?

That last one is my favorite. She makes it look as if people levitate all the time. I'm feeling a little inspired. Go check out her blog. You'll love it!

Family Similes.

Today this blog is going word style, meaning there will be more typing than uploading pictures. You've been warned. Take a good look at this picture. This is kind of what I feel like some days. Not really sure what I'm doing, just trying to make it through the day alive. Sometimes it gets frustrating and a bit confusing.
Then I have a spontaneous day that seems to make the world 100% better and I feel like this.
Not perfect, but totally content and happy to be right where I am. Today was one of those good days.

Stinking Sulfur.

The last of the roadtrip pictures. These were taken in Yellowstone, which is (in my opinion) the stinkiest and yet most beautiful place on earth.

Saturate The Sky.

Lately I've been experimenting with saturation. Well, more like de-saturation. Some photos worked out well, but others just needed the color. Also, some famous presidents are visiting today.

I just love this one of my brothers!

Days 2 And 3.

This week I felt awful for not spending anytime editing photos, then I jumped on a 4-wheeler and felt 100% better. Now that vacation time is over, I am getting down to business and cranking these puppies out! Enjoy scenes from the roadtrip!

Also, today is my brother's birthday! Happy Birthday!!
